ANTI-social vehicle use and driving standards were the focus of an operation in Bradford city centre.
It involved the Bradford City Neighbourhood Policing Team, the Steerside Enforcement Team, Bradford Council and the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for Neighbourhood Policing Week.
It was held yesterday (Thursday, January 27) as part of Neighbourhood Policing Week.
In checks with the DVSA, there were three immediate prohibitions.
Three drivers were given advisories, while three cars had no issues.
Taxi licensing checks were carried out with Bradford Council. A total of 12 were checked - five were immediately suspended from operating; three were given rectification notices and four were all in order.
The NPT and Steerside teams issued 32 Traffic Offence Reports; four uninsured vehicles were seized; six people were reported to court for offences including driving while disqualified.
One driver was given a section 59 warning for anti-social driving.
Section 59 warnings allow police to give drivers a warning if they are reported to have used their vehicle in a manner which causes "alarm, distress or annoyance".
