BRADFORD’S historic cafe culture has suffered a blow, with news that Fountains Coffee House is to close, after 55 years.
The family-run cafe, at the Oastler Centre, opened in 1968. Co-managers Michael and Stella Georgiou have told the T&A they plan to close it in March.
Here we look back on other much-loved Bradford cafes, including the Acropolis, El Greco, the Italia and Truly Scrumptious.
