A TEENAGER who was charged with attempted murder and a firearms offence following a shooting incident in Bradford has appeared in court.

The 17-year-old male, who cannot be named for legal reasons, attended a hearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 24.

The incident occurred at a home in Christophers Court, Idle, earlier this month.

The teenager, from Bradford, was remanded to youth detention accommodation.

His case was adjourned to Bradford Crown Court until February 20.

Christophers Court is a relatively new-build cul-de-sac near Thorp Garth.

Officers were called to the area in the early hours of the morning at 1.34am on Wednesday, January 11.

A police cordon was at the location for several days as forensic examination took place.
