A FORMER canal pump house in the Bradford district dating back to 1872 sold at auction for more than its asking price.
The property, on Dock Lane, Shipley, which features three bedrooms, bathroom, front, lounge, study and utility room. It had a guide price of £150,000 but sold for £163,000 at the online auction.
It featured in an online auction through Pugh Auctions, which concluded on January 18.
A description said: "The property is a two-storey, three-bedroom dwelling that may be appropriate for an owner-occupier or to be rented out by a landlord-buyer.
“Alternatively, the property may be suitable for other uses subject to the necessary consents.
“The property requires some modernisation but does retain some of its attractive, period features.”
