THERE will be no pre-season game at Odsal this year after all, with Bulls forced to move their game against the Huddersfield Giants on Sunday.
That encounter will now be played at Dewsbury's FLAIR Stadium, just seven days after Bulls won there against the Dewsbury Rams in their opening friendly of 2023.
Bulls announced the news of the switch this evening, confirming it has come about due to the current adverse weather, with the Odsal pitch often badly affected whenever there are rainy, snowy or icy conditions.
After these first two games at Dewsbury, Bulls will play their final friendly of pre-season at Headingley against the Leeds Rhinos on Sunday, January 29.
They do technically have a game up at Derwent Park against Workington Town too on Saturday, February 4, but that will be a select Bulls side, made of those not in the squad for Bulls' Betfred Championship opener at home to Whitehaven the following day.
