SIX further Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported over the last seven days in Bradford hospitals.

According to the latest NHS figures, one further death was reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust between January 12 and 18. This was reported on January 15.

Meanwhile, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust recorded five further deaths during the same period. One death was recorded on each of the following dates: January 16, 17 and 18, with two deaths recorded on January 13.

The total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district now stands at 1,381 – 935 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals; 444 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Nationally, a further 406 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died over the same seven-day period (January 12 to 18). The number of deaths over the previous seven days is published weekly.
