A DISPUTE between a London real estate company and Bradford Council over business rates will be settled in a court trial this Summer.
Both Bradford Council and Oceanfill Ltd, based in Brent Street, London, dispute the amount of business rates the company should have paid on two city centre properties over a year long period.
There was a brief hearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on Thursday, where magistrates were told that the case involved 65 Market Street and 67 Market Street, both of which are currently vacant.
The dispute is over the company’s role in the two properties between March 21 2021 and March 31 2022.
No representative from the company was present, and Magistrates set a trial date for June 15.
