ARMED police swooped on a property in relation to a murder investigation. 

Officers attended an address on Croft Court, Mount Lane, in Rastrick on Thursday morning.

It is in connection with the death of 33-year-old Khalfan Seif on Springdale Avenue in Thornton Lodge, Huddersfield.

Two males, aged 18 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday evening.

A man, aged 22, was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with the death of Mr Seif.

Mr Seif was stabbed in an incident in his home on Springdale Avenue at about 11pm on Saturday night (January 14).

He was taken to hospital but sadly passed away from his injuries.

He was described as a much-loved family man, kind, generous and well-liked by friends.

A spokesperson from the force confirmed officers attended in the Raistrick area as part of the investigation and added: "Enquiries remain ongoing today by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team."
