A MAN has been fined for two speeding offences including on a Bradford motorway.
Riaz Rehman, 34, of Hillary Street, Walsall, West Midlands, faced a charge of exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a motorway – being caught by an automatic camera device.
He was clocked speeding at 65mph in a 50mph zone on the M606 southbound/M62 Bradford link. This offence took place on July 27, 2022.
Rehman was handed three driving licence points, fined £40 and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £32 victim surcharge for the offence.
He also faced a charge of speeding – exceeding 30mph on a restricted road – being caught by an automatic camera device. He was clocked at 40mph in a 30mph zone on St Enoch’s Road, Bradford, on July 27, 2022.
Rehman was handed three licence points and fined £40 for the offence.
Rehman pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced in a single justice procedure hearing at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on January 11, 2023.
