TRAFFIC restrictions are to be introduced on roads outside schools in Bradford.

Bradford Council has made various School Streets Traffic Regulation Orders, to prohibit the driving of vehicles within time periods on the following lengths of road, from September 1 this year to July 31, 2024:

* High Crags Primary Leadership Academy, Pratt Lane, Shipley, from junction with Prospect Street to western termination point, including the southern spur serving 5-19 Kitson Street, 8.30-9:15am and 3-3.30pm.

* Shipley CofE Primary School, Otley Road, Shipley, from an unnamed back street to the south of Birklands Road, Castle Road from junction with Birklands Road to southern termination point, 8.35-9.15am and 2.45-3.40pm.

* Westminster CofE Primary Academy, Westminster Road, Bradford, from junction with Westminster Terrace to northern termination point, two unnamed back streets at Westminster Place between junctions with Westminster Road and terminations, one unnamed back street, between junction with Westminster Terrace and termination, Northallerton Road, from a point 12m west of junction with Sunnyside Lane to its western termination point, 8.10- 8.30am and 2.45- -3.15pm

* Girlington Primary School, Kensington Street, Bradford, on Kensington Street from junction with Thorn Street to Birch Street, 8.40-9.20am and 2.40-3.35pm. * Bradford Council has announced two-point road closures on a length of Church Street in Buttershaw.
