A MAN is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash this morning.
Two cars were involved in a collision on the Elland Riorges Link, near Lowfields Business Park, in Elland just before 7am today.
Road closures have been put in place as a result, and motorists are urged to find alternative routes.

In a statement issues this afternoon, West Yorkshire Police said: “At 6.55am today (Wednesday), police received a report of a road traffic collision on the Elland Riorges Link close to Lowfields Business Park in Elland.
“Officers attended and found that two vehicles had been involved – a Honda Jazz and a Peugeot 2008.
“The Peugeot driver was taken to hospital. His injuries are currently described as life-threatening.
“The Honda driver attended hospital, where she was found to have minor injuries and was later discharged.
“The Ainley Top-bound carriageway of the A629 Calderdale Way has now reopened, but the Halifax-bound carriageway remains closed for further investigations into the collision.
"This closure is likely to remain in place until late afternoon.
“Motorists are thanked for their patience and are advised to find an alternative route.”
