A MAN from Birmingham has been banned after driving offences committed in Bradford.

Mohammed Oosman Ayub, 25, of Willmore Road, faced two charges.

In the first offence, using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance, he was caught at Bradford Interchange, Bridge Street, Bradford, on July 15, 2022.

He was banned from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for six months for the offence. A disqualification was deemed necessary by the court due to repeat offending.

He was given no separate penalty for a charge of using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate. This offence also took place at Bradford Interchange, Bridge Street, Bradford, on July 15, 2022.

Ayub was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on January 6, 2023.
