A MAN from Birmingham has been banned after driving offences committed in Bradford.
Mohammed Oosman Ayub, 25, of Willmore Road, faced two charges.
In the first offence, using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance, he was caught at Bradford Interchange, Bridge Street, Bradford, on July 15, 2022.
He was banned from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for six months for the offence. A disqualification was deemed necessary by the court due to repeat offending.
Ayub was also fined £770 and ordered to pay a £308 victim surcharge and £90 costs for the offence. A collection order was made by the court.
He was given no separate penalty for a charge of using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate. This offence also took place at Bradford Interchange, Bridge Street, Bradford, on July 15, 2022.
Ayub was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on January 6, 2023.
