LATEST NEWS: Police keep major road carriageway closed after serious crash
THERE are major delays this morning following a crash on a busy route.
Emergency services have been at the scene, on Calderdale Way, near Lowfields Business Park in Elland, since around 7am.
According to traffic alerts, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

In a statement issued this morning, West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision near Lowfields Business Park in Elland.
"This has led to significant traffic disruption of the A629 between Salterhebble and Ainley Top in both directions.
"Motorists are advised to consider alternative routes."
Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust said in a statement: "An accident on the Elland Bypass going towards Halifax is causing very long tailbacks.
"If you are coming to Halifax for an appointment please bear in mind.
"Our staff shuttle buses are currently stuck in the traffic and our teams are looking to get some smaller vehicles out soon."
