A 45-YEAR-old man has been jailed after breaking into a social club in Bingley.
Karl Stubley, 45, of no fixed address, was found guilty of burglary dwelling with intent to cause damage following a trial at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
At a hearing on January 5, he was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison due to the seriousness of the offence.
The incident itself took place in October 2021 at The Ryshworth Club, Keighley Road, Bingley, where Stubley entered as a trespasser with intent to do unlawful damage to the building or anything inside.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £200.
Magistrates also took into account Stubley’s flagrant disregard for court orders and his history of offending.
