A MAN from London has been banned after committing a driving offence in Bradford.

Zafar Ali, 40, of Hornsey Park Road, Wood Green, London, faced one charge of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver/rider of a vehicle when required.

The offence was committed in the city on September 14, 2022.

Ali was disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for six months.

Court documents state disqualification was "obligatory due to repeat offending".

He was also fined £660 and ordered to pay a £264 victim surcharge and £90 costs for the charge. A collection order was made by the court.

The case against Ali was proved at a single justice procedure hearing held on December 8, 2022. He was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on January 6.
