One of Bradford College’s vice principals has taken on a senior role at a care trust.

Christopher Malish, vice principal for finance and corporate services, has joined Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

He will replace the previous non-executive director Andrew Chang, and overlook services covering Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.

Mr Malish, who lives in Baildon, said: “I am really passionate about supporting the local community having lived in Bradford for the last seventeen years, and I have a deep loyalty to the communities that are served by the trust.”

Christopher began his career in the financial services sector where he spent ten years working for global banking businesses, including Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance, before moving into education.

Prior to Bradford College, Mr Malish spent eight years at the University of Bradford, most recently as the interim director of finance, after progressing through a range of senior finance roles.
