A DISQUALIFIED driver had his vehicle seized after he was caught speeding on a Bradford district road.

The individual was caught doing 42mph on the 30mph Baildon Road.

The driver was reported for both offences.

Operation Steerside tweeted: "Driver's speed recorded at 42mph on Baildon Road (30mph limit).

"It transpires that he had also been disqualified from driving.

"Vehicle seized and driver reported for both offences."

West Yorkshire Police's Operation Steerside Team has been dedicated to tackling dangerous and anti-social driving in Bradford since the initiative was launched in 2016.

It evolved in 2018 into a multi-agency partnership (consisting of representatives from Bradford Council, police, education and the fire service) and has continued ever since to proactively take on illegal use of the road.
