POLICE found a cannabis farm, containing hundreds of plants, following a report of a power outage in an area.
Northern Powergrid attended an address in Batley on January 14.
More than 200 plants were discovered by workers who were joined by West Yorkshire Police officers.
Enquiries remain ongoing into the incident.
A post on the West Yorkshire Police - Batley and Spen Facebook page read: "Northern Powergrid attended a dwelling in Batley following a report of a power outage in the area.
"Officers from Batley/Spen NPT also attended, and located a full cannabis 'farm' at the address, with in excess of 200 plants.
"The electricity had also been bypassed, causing the power outage.
"Investigation work is ongoing."
