THREE drivers were caught speeding in a police operation on a major Bradford road. 

West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team, which was set up to tackle the anti-social and criminal use of roads, clocked the drivers on Rooley Avenue. 

They were patrolling the busy road on the evening of Sunday, January 15. 

The team tweeted: "A productive evening on Rooley Avenue in Bradford South yesterday.

"Three drivers reported for exceeding the 30mph limit with speeds of 48, 52 and 54mph recorded.

"One vehicle was also seized for no insurance and another driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving."
