AS the cost of living crisis continues to impact families across the district, a money-saving workshop is coming to venues in Bradford.

The Cost of Living Roadshow will be hosted at several venues, providing families with information on how to get by this winter.

Families can find out where to get cheap or free food as well as debt advice, how to keep warm, local warm spaces, and information on how to find jobs.

Events will be held on:

  • Tuesday January 17 from 2.30pm-3.30pm at Woodside Academy KS1 playground, Fenwick Drive, Woodside BD6 2PG.
  • Wednesday, January 18 from 10-11.30am at Sandale Community Centre, Sandale Walk, Woodside, BD6 2RB.
  • Thursday, January 19 from 8.50am to 10am at St Winefride’s RC Primary School, St Paul’s Ave, Wibsey, BD6 1SR.
  • Thursday, January 19, a pop-up pantry will be held between 12- 1.30pm at St Matthew’s Church, Carrbottom Rd, Bankfoot, BD5 9AA.
  • Friday, January 20, a breakfast club will be held at Footprints Family Centre, The Crescent, Buttershaw, BD6 3PZ.

Coats 4 Community will also be at the roadshow event, where anyone can help themselves to a free coat to stay warm this winter.
