A DRIVER and their six passengers got out and ran from a car which was stopped by police in the Bradford district last night.
Officers saw the Toyota go through a red light on North Dean Road in Keighley.
The occupants of the car were having none of it, though, with police claiming that all seven of them simply opened the doors and fled the scene.
West Yorkshire Police’s Steerside Enforcement Team could hardly believe what they saw.
“North Dean Road, @WYP_Keighley. Vehicle seen going through a red light before driver and 6 (yes, 6 passengers) all decamped and ran off,” the Team said in a tweet posted at 10.14pm yesterday.
The car was recovered and enquiries are ongoing, police added.
