FIRE CREWS – including one from Bradford – were called to a house in Leeds in the early hours of today after a fire broke out and affected two properties.
Crews received reports of smoke coming from a property on Strathmore Road in Harehills, and discovered a fire in a roof, which was affecting two homes.
They were called at 3.12am today.
Four breathing apparatus and two hose reels were used to tackle the blaze at one property, and a further two breathing apparatus and one hose reel were used in the adjoining house.
All people were accounted for by fire crews and no injuries were reported.
Police and the ambulance service were also in attendance, while a fire investigation officer was also called to determine the cause of the fire.
Crews from Bradford, Leeds, Killingbeck, Moortown and Hunslet fire stations attended the incident.
