THE popular Ukranian Bantams fan group have organised a special 10-year anniversary event with much-loved former club captain Gary Jones.

'A Night with the Uki Bantams' will take place next month, as they and Jones look back on City's remarkable run to the League Cup final back in 2013.

On their way to the final, the Bantams knocked out Premier League trio Wigan Athletic, Arsenal and Aston Villa, before losing to Swansea City in the final at Wembley.

Phil Parkinson's side were the first fourth-tier side to reach the League Cup final in 51 years.

Jones' leadership was instrumental on City's road to Wembley and he will be attending the 'Night with...' event at Bradford's Ukranian Centre, which is on Legrams Lane.

It takes place on Saturday, February 18, after the Bantams' League Two game at home to Barrow that afternoon.

The night will be hosted Bantams Banter, a City-specific podcast, with music from Bradford band The Good Citizens.

It is a ticket-only event, which will cost £7 to attend, with food available to purchase on the night.

An auction on the night will raise funds to support humanitarian causes in Ukraine, with the country still suffering terribly, 11 months after neighbours Russia invaded.
