A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing almost £2,500 worth of damage to a Bradford company’s vehicles.
Adam Harrison, 33, of Foldings Parade, Scholes, Cleckheaton, faced one charge of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
Without lawful excuse, Harrison damaged six company vehicles, to the value of £2,419.20, belonging to Shipley Transport Services, Dealburn Road, Bradford, intending to destroy, or damage such property, or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. The offence took place on July 13, 2022.
Harrison was fined £473 and ordered to pay £400 compensation and a £189 victim surcharge for the offence. A collection was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
He changed his plea to guilty after previously pleading not guilty to the charge at an earlier hearing.
Harrison was sentenced for the criminal damage charge at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on January 6, 2023.
