Meanwhile, Chris Roberts, of Bradford & Bingley Weatherline, brings us the latest of his regular weekend weather forecasts for the Bradford district.

General

A hugely complex area of low pressure will bring a series of weather fronts across the county with associated rain, wind and eventually lower temperatures as the air becomes sourced from a NW/Polar Maritime direction into Sunday.

Saturday

A wet start to the day with bouts of heavy rain, a brighter showery interlude, when we may see some sunshine from late morning.

However, clouds will build again in the afternoon when more rain, again heavy in some spots could affect the region, but quite hit and miss in nature by then.

Temperatures from a high of 7C to only 3C in the evening in a moderate to increasing fresh and gale-force WSW to Westerly breeze.

Overnight

A wet night with gales overexposed areas, but turning showery by the dawn period and turning colder as we source our air further north behind the weather fronts. Lows of 2C in a fresh WNW breeze.

Sunday

A largely cloudy day with perhaps some brighter spots later in the day.

Any showers will lessen through the morning, and a strong wind could bring in some blustery showers at times, but they will be fleeting and light if we do get one.

Temperatures from 2C up to 4C, but falling back into the evening in a moderate to light NW breeze.

Overnight

Some clear spells but cloud will build and the chance of a wintry shower increases over the hills to our West.

But there is potential for some lower areas receiving a few sleet/snow showers by the morning. Lows of 0C in a moderate to light NW breeze Further Outlook: A very cold week than of late, with a mix of sunshine, night frost, wintry showers and a moderate to Fresh NW perhaps Northerly breeze.
