The A59 at West Marton, currently closed to traffic
THE A59 is currently closed at West Marton due to a road traffic collision just across the North Yorkshire border into Lancashire.
Motorists are being diverted at the crossroads in the village towards Thornton-in-Craven and Barnoldswick to join the B6252.
Traffic is also being stopped from using the narrow road from West Marton towards Gargrave.
It is not clear at this time how long the road will be closed.
