A MAN has appeared in court charged with speeding on a motorway in Bradford.
Dominic Daibell, 26, of Valley View, Harden, Bingley, faced one charge of exceeding a 50mph speed restriction on a special road/motorway – automatic camera device.
He was clocked at 79mph in a 50mph zone of the M606 southbound, 150 yards south of ten slip to Chainbar roundabout, Bradford. This offence took place on October 19, 2021.
Daibell was handed six driving licence points, fined £323 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £110 costs for the offence.
The charge was contrary to both the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
Daibell pleaded guilty to the speeding charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on December 8, 2022.
