THREE further Covid-19-related hospital deaths have been reported in the Bradford district over the last seven days.

According to the latest NHS figures, no further deaths were reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust between January 5 and 11.

Meanwhile, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust recorded three further deaths during the same period. One death was recorded on each of the following dates: January 5, 8 and 9.

The total number of reported hospital deaths in the Bradford district now stands at 1,375 – 934 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals; 439 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Nationally, a further 397 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died over the same seven-day period (January 5 to 11). Their families have been informed.
