A ROAD in Bradford is deemed to be one of the most congested outside London, according to a new study.
Data shows the A6177, from Bolton Road to Great Horton Road, is the second most congested in the rest of the UK.
The traffic-choked route includes Ingleby Road, junctions with Thornton Road and Legrams Lane, and Queen's Road.
Commuters using that stretch lost an average of 34 hours last year stuck in traffic, according to traffic data firm Inrix.
The peak hour for the route is 4pm and, in 2022, an average of eight minutes were lost per journey.
Only a road in Birmingham - the A45 from Bordesley Circus to Henry Road - was seen as being busier outside the capital city.
