A CREW from the Bradford district was among those called to a fire at a mill building in West Yorkshire.

A Cleckheaton Fire Station crew was one of six called to a fire at a mill on Bradford Road, Dewsbury, at 11.35pm on January 11.

A total of four large jets and two hose reels were used to extinguish the fire, a West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said.

In the latest update, a fire service spokesperson said: “By 7:30am this morning all crews had left the scene and the incident was handed over to West Yorkshire Police.

“Fire Investigation are currently on scene, alongside the police.”
