Emergency services were called to a crash in Bradford this afternoon. 

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service was called out at 12.28pm to an incident on Bolton Road, at its junction with Queens Road.

A spokesperson said that the crash involved one large goods vehicle and one car.

It added that a female was trapped in the car and had to be freed by firefighters, before being handed over to Yorkshire Ambulance Service, who had earlier requested the fire service's help.

West Yorkshire Police said its officers were called to the scene at 12.16pm to reports of a "car and a wagon" being in collision.
