A MAN from London has been fined for using a vehicle in a condition likely to cause danger or injury in Bradford.

Mohammed Sulthan Ahmed, 33, of Sprowston Road, Forest Gate, London, Newham, faced one charge of using a motor vehicle/trailer in a condition likely to cause danger of injury.

He used a motor vehicle when its condition, namely transmission of light recorded as 14.5 per cent which is insufficient, was such that its use involved a danger of injury to any person.

This offence took place on Legrams Lane, Bradford, on July 24, 2022.

Ahmed was handed three driving licence points, fined £233 and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £93 victim surcharge for the offence. A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.

Ahmed pleaded guilty and was sentenced at a single justice procedure hearing held at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on December 15, 2022.
