BUDDING app developers can take part in a competition at Bradford's National Science and Media Museum this month.

A joint project by the BFI (British Film Institute) and XR Stories (University of York) – supported by the Arts & Humanities Research Council – will see a 48-hour competitive bootcamp where participants can work with others to create prototypes of the entertainment apps of the future.

To join in with the initiative, which has been described as a great opportunity to network and learn more about the entertainment industry, you must be aged between 16 and 24 and live, work or study in Bradford.

There are cash prizes for the best proposals, and people can sign up here: https://york.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0e36hxNEFh0xcwK.

People can also contact Dr Rob Eagle with any questions at rob.eagle@bfi.org.uk.
