A CAR fire has forced a motorway to be shut in part, with four miles of traffic.
The closure is in place on the westbound carriageway of the M62, between junction 23 (Huddersfield) and junction 22 (Rishworth Moor).
The blaze was first reported at 3.04pm, according to the AA.
Highways officers have closed lanes one and two (of three), while the fire is dealt with.
Traffic is queueing back four miles currently, which is adding an extra 25 minutes onto normal journey times.
