A LARGE Bradford school has closed multiple year groups due to "unforeseen circumstances".
Bradford Academy, in Teasdale Street, East Bowling, announced this morning that it would be partially shut.
The affected provisions are, Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and class 3B.
The rest of the school - which provides primary and secondary education to more than 1,800 pupils - is open.
Bradford Academy said in the announcement on Bradford Council's school closures page that the partial closure is due to "unforeseen circumstances" and that further information would follow.
But there is no indication as to how long the closure will be in place.
The Telegraph & Argus contacted the school for more details.
But it declined to comment at this time.
Bradford Academy is sponsored by The Diocese of West Yorkshire and the Dales and Mel Saville is the Interim Executive Principal.
