BULLS are advertising for a vital role within their academy.

They are seeking an academy team manager to join the staff at Odsal, as part of their growing youth development set-up.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the club's head of youth, Ryan Hunkin, and will spend their time based at Bradford's training base at Tong, or the stadium at Odsal.

Bulls have laid out a list of role responsibilities for the academy team manager on their club website, which are as follows:

• Assist the head of youth/head coach with any administration as necessary relating to the team and its players.

• Maintain a current list of players in the squad along with appropriate contact details.

• Understanding and assisting players with education through the OurLeague App.

• Communication liaison with parents/guardians/carers of players.

• Liaising with opponent team managers on game day.

• Organising necessary team support to ensure the smooth running of the team.

• Support the welfare team in matters relating to a player’s welfare.

• Understanding and assisting players with completing the club player registration.

• Communicate club news and information especially responsibilities to attend upcoming functions.

• Active participation in team or club management meetings.

• Be available training evenings and game days, with some weekend work required.

• Compiling and submitting team lists for team management, competition management and social media.

• Ensuring players are aware of game day time and location, home and away games.

• Liaising with equipment manager ensuring the requirements is available and ready, including playing kit, balls, water bottles, tackle shields, marker cones, etc.

• Assists in the collection and storage of all team equipment, including playing kit, balls, water bottles, tackle shields, marker cones, etc.
