A WOMAN who was hit by a truck in Bradford city centre is still fighting for her life.
West Yorkshire Police was called just before 4.50pm on Monday to reports of a road traffic collision which involved a truck and a pedestrian.
It was on Leeds Road, in Bradford, near its junction with Seymour Street.
The truck was travelling down Leeds Road towards the city centre, in slow-moving traffic, when it collided with the pedestrian - a 67-year-old woman.
She was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The force provided an update today and said the woman remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the truck is helping police with its investigation into the crash.
Officers are also appealing for information in relation to the collision.
They would like to speak to any witnesses, or those who may have dash cam or mobile phone footage of the crash.

A full statement from West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision on Leeds Road, near Seymour Street, Bradford.
"Officers were called shortly before 4.50pm yesterday (9 January) to reports of a truck in collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 67-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
"She remains in hospital in a critical condition.
"The truck was travelling down Leeds Road towards the City in slow-moving traffic when it was in collision with the pedestrian.
"The driver is helping police with their enquiries."
