BRADFORD is set for a day of heavy rain as weather warnings are in place in parts of the UK.

Heavy rain will dominate in the Bradford district all this morning until 2pm today when the showers ease slightly and get lighter, according to the Met Office.

After 2pm, the rest of today will be a mixture of light rain and drier conditions. A brief return of the heavy rain will take place in Bradford between 6pm and 7pm. The top temperature today is 11C.

This will make way for an evening and overnight of light rain showers with temperatures dipping to 8C by 11pm tonight.

The weather in Bradford tomorrow (Wednesday) will improve compared to today with a morning of sunshine and showers forecast. But this will make way for another period of heavy rain between 2pm and 5pm.

The maximum temperature tomorrow will be cooler than today at 7C.

No weather warnings are in place for Bradford for either today or tomorrow, according to the Met Office.
