A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with a school fire.
The blaze caused serious damage to four sheds and damage to the roof at Rowley Lane Junior and Infant school in Lepton, Huddersfield on January 1.
Officers from the Huddersfield NPT arrested a 58-year-old man on Thursday, January 5.
The arrested man has now been released on police bail pending continuing enquiries.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Officers want to thank everyone who has got in touch with information about the incident so far.
"Reports can continue to be made to the Huddersfield NPT on 101 referencing crime number 13230001685.
"Information can also be given online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat or anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111."
