THE reigning winner of The Apprentice TV show who has Bradford business links has given her verdict on the candidates after the first show of the new series.

Harpreet Kaur, who impressed Lord Sugar on the BBC show last year, runs the Oh So Yum! dessert parlour business which opened a branch on White Abbey Road, Bradford, in August last year.

Since she was crowned the 2022 winner of the BBC programme, Harpreet’s business has gone from strength to strength, with her products now stocked in Selfridges stores.

She appeared on The Apprentice’s spin-off show You’re Fired! hosted by comedian Tom Allen to give an update on how her life has changed since winning the show, including a relationship with fellow 2022 candidate Akshay.

On the show, Harpreet said she has put a lot of hard work into her business over the last 12 months and is excited by her firm’s future.

She reacted to the opening show of the 2023 series, which saw Emma Browne fired after a tour task in Antigua.

Harpreet was also asked who her candidate to watch was.

She said: “I thought Simba was quite interesting and came across well. He potentially has a lot to offer.”
