FIRE CREWS were called to a ground-floor flat in Leeds in the early hours of this morning following a blaze.
The fire broke out in the bedroom of a two-storey building on Clyde Walk in New Wortley.
Four breathing apparatus and two hose reels were used to extinguish the fire, which was attended by crews from Leeds and Hunslet fire stations at 12.44am.
A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke and crews fitted and actuated smoke alarms in the property.
Only one person was involved, and no injuries were sustained, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said.
