A MAN has been fined for driving without reasonable consideration to others in the Bradford district.

Luke Lachhar, 35, of Oddfellows Street, Scholes, Cleckheaton, faced one charge of driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road/in a public place without reasonable consideration to other users.

The offence took place on Moorhead Lane, Shipley, on June 25, 2022.

Lachhar was handed five driving licence points, fined £440 and ordered to pay a £176 victim surcharge and £90 costs for the offence. A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.

The charge was contrary to the Road Traffic Act 1988 and the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.

Lachhar was sentenced at a single justice procedure hearing at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on December 15, 2022.
