TWO men still remain in custody this morning following a crash on a Bradford road which left a young mum dead.

Two men were arrested after the crash on Baildon Road (B6151), Baildon, near the junction with Pasture Road, at 11.47pm on Tuesday evening.

A witness said the vehicle - a silver Vauxhall Vectra - came off the road and flipped into a position where it meant the car's roof hit a wall first.

Police said the vehicle failed to stop for them and it was being pursued by officers at the time of the crash and a referral was made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

A spokesperson for the IOPC revealed six people had been travelling in the car.

Four people, three men and a woman, were rushed to hospital for treatment.

The IOPC spokesperson said another man, who was understood to have been in the car, was found later and arrested by West Yorkshire Police.

He received medical attention while in custody.

A police spokesperson said: "Two men remain in custody this morning."
