A SCHOOL in Bradford will be closed to all students today.

Bradford Council issued a notice this morning to say that Beckfoot Heaton Primary, on Haworth Road, Bradford, will be closed due to an issue with its gas supply

A spokesperson for the school said: "Beckfoot Heaton Primary School & Nursery will be closed today (Thursday) all day due to an issue with our gas supply, resulting in no hot water or heating throughout the school.

"We are hoping the school will be open as normal on Friday, January 6.

"A confirmation of this will be sent to parents on Thursday afternoon.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you."

They added: "Children should access their learning remotely using the online learning section on the school website and use the family factsheets sent home prior to the holidays."
