GRANTS of up to £1,500 are on offer to support community projects in Bradford as Locala’s Community Fund opens for 2023.
Over recent years more than £100,000 has been donated to a variety of groups doing important work in their area.
Last year’s fund saw more than £43,000 donated to 30 community groups and this year, Locala is particularly interested in receiving applications for projects which support its social value pledges.
This includes projects related to health and wellbeing, education, employment, volunteering, the environment and community leadership.
More details about the Fund – which is also available for community groups in Calderdale, Kirklees, Stockport and Tameside, can be found on the Locala website here: https://www.locala.org.uk/get-involved/community-fund.
Application forms can also be sent by post, and any questions or further information can be requested by emailing membership@locala.org.uk.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on January 27.
Diane McKerracher, Locala’s board chair, said: “It’s truly inspiring to see the fantastic work going on in our communities and to be able to support so many activities through our Community Fund.
“We know that community organisations continue to face huge challenges and small grant funding like this is more important than ever.”
