A BRADFORD district school will be partially closed until next week due to a heating failure.

Saltaire Primary School will be shut to all of its Key Stage 2 pupils until Monday, January 9 due to a boiler malfunction.

But the school will remain open to its year one and two pupils as usual.

Remote learning will be provided for the school’s Key Stage 2 pupils from Wednesday, January 4.

It is the latest setback to fall on Saltaire Primary School this week after it was forced to open its doors later yesterday (Tuesday, January 3) after conditions around the premises were "extremely dangerous" due to the ice.

But the school did open its doors at 10am yesterday to allow pupils to travel safely.
