THERE has been a huge emergency response after a witness described a car hitting a wall roof first.

The collision is reported to have happened on Baildon Road (B6151), near its junction with Hinchcliffe Avenue.

A witness said it involved one vehicle which came off the road and flipped into a position where it meant the car's roof hit a wall first.

The reported crash has provoked a major response from emergency services, with multiple police vehicles, ambulances and the fire service believed to have rushed to the scene.

Another witness also heard a helicopter circling the sky above Baildon at one point too.

Sirens could be heard blaring right across the north of Bradford at around 12am.

Baildon Road is reportedly closed in both directions.
