A POPULAR Bradford beauty salon has been nominated for an award.

Citrine Aesthetics, based on Pearson Road in Odsal, is up for Educators Excellence of the Year at the 2023 Social Media Hair & Beauty Awards (SMHBA).

Owner Christina Hudson said: "I live and breathe Citrine Aesthetics. I am overwhelmed and grateful to be nominated.

"I built this business up from spending £10 and working 17-hour days.

"The business is exactly where I wanted to be in 2023 and I will continue to grow with the support of my loyal customers, my worldwide returning students and my amazing team."

Citrine Aesthetics, founded in 2019, opens its doors twice a month for training and educates medics and non-medics in the aesthetics industry.

These courses get fully booked months in advance.

Last year, well-known media personality and former glamour model Katie Price visited the salon to host a makeup masterclass.

Amy Richards, President of SMHBA, said: "Nominees like Citrine Aesthetics are setting the standard for innovation and creativity in the Hair & Beauty sector.

"Being chosen as one of the best out of the more than 500 entries we received this year is an amazing accomplishment.”
