A WOMAN has appeared in court for assault charges and causing criminal damage at a Bradford police station.
Sarah Lee, 43, of Park Road, Thackley, Bradford, was given a community order for the four charges she faced.
She faced three separate charges of assault by beating on three different people, which all took place at Westgate, Bradford, on April 3, 2022.
Lee was also ordered to pay £200 costs, £100 compensation and a £95 victim surcharge for one of the assault by beating counts. She was also ordered to pay £100 compensation for another of the assault by beating charges. A collection order was made by the court for deductions from Lee’s benefits.
She was also sentenced for a fourth charge of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
Lee damaged a code of practice book belonging to West Yorkshire Police.
This offence took place at Trafalgar House Police Station, Nelson Street, Bradford, on April 3, 2022.
Lee initially pleaded not guilty to all four charges at a previous court hearing but changed all of her pleas to guilty and was sentenced.
She was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on December 19, 2022.
