SUN-SEEKERS’ favourite sunshine holiday destinations to travel to from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) have been revealed.

Here are a few details on each from the Yeadon airport as people begin 2023 by planning their breaks away.

One of Spain's Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, famous for beach resorts, sheltered coves and Roman and Moorish remains.

Tenerife

It is the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, off West Africa. It is best known for its Carnaval de Santa Cruz, held each February, a huge pre-Lent festival with parades, music and dancing.

Faro

The French capital is a popular place for city breaks and one of the most romantic cities in the world.

Meanwhile, Leeds Bradford Airport is running a promotion with any bookings in January receiving a 10 per cent discount.
